BLOCK 15 TEAM AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

We are excited to offer a really cool opportunity here at Block 15, the Team Ambassador Program!

This new project is way for you to help us energize and inform internal/external people about everything going on at Block 15, and ultimately grow our brand awareness as we move into the future. This is a great avenue for personal growth at Block 15, and the perks aren’t bad either.🙂

This program is open to ALL employees that are interested in becoming a part of this elite beer squad. You can find more information about the program and submit your application here.

The application reviews will be done in the next few weeks, and we’ll gather the chosen team together and kick-off the program as we turn the corner and race into 2021!

If you have any questions, please email Pascal!

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL

We would like to give you an exciting update on our Black is Beautiful fundraising campaign!

As you know, Black is Beautiful is a collaborative effort amongst the worldwide brewing community and its customers, in an attempt to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face daily. This program was started by Weathered Souls Brewing in San Antonio, Texas, with over 1,000 breweries participating to raise funds for local organizations like yours.

Block 15 committed to contributing 100% of the proceeds from our sales to be distributed between the NAACP Corvallis/Albany Branch, the NAACP-OSU Student Chapter and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. We are honored to assist these incredible organizations in their continued mission for equality.

We are proud to let you know that we will be donating over $9,100 to these branches of the NAACP! Thanks to everyone that played a part in this program. We couldn’t have done it without you!

UPCOMING BEER RELEASES

  • The DAB Lab, Orange Velvet // Blazey IPA // Featuring apollo extract combined with a quartet of hop varietals, Orange Velvet delivers a beer with velvety soft mouthfeel and a distinct citrus finish by utilizing flaked oats, milk sugar and orange peel. The DAB Lab series focuses on vibrant hop-forward ales that prominently feature hop extractions. // 7.2% ABV // $4.60/16oz can

  • Nebula // Oat Stout // This American-style oat stout was brewed with rolled oats, English Maris otter, and five different specialty dark malts, imparting rich and roasty notes of coffee, dark chocolate, and caramel that are softened by a smooth body and balanced finish. // 6% ABV // $2.85/16oz can

  • The Prophecies // Belgian-style Quad // Inspired by one of our favorite beers brewed in the Ardennes Mountains, this strong ale was brewed in the shadow of the Cascade Mountain range with European specialty malts and dark Belgian candi sugar—a rich blend that hints at dark fruit and Dutch cocoa with a balanced, warming finish. // 10.25 ABV // $5/500mL bottle

  • Hoppy Holidays // Imperial IPA with Orange Peel and Spruce Tips // Brewed with a sleigh-full of Northwest-grown hops, sweet orange zest, and local spruce tips foraged by our brewers, hoppy holidays’ seasonal flavors of pine and citrus blend with a hearty malt backbone to evoke holidays of past, like opening a gift box of citrus under a holiday tree. Hoppy Holidays! // 8.5% // $8/500mL bottle

THE PEOPLE’S PINT

CAMERON MERRILL’S LEGACY

IMG_0221.JPG

Cameron Merrill's Legacy supports families experiencing a medical crisis with a child via a variety of ways, including local blood drives, Cameron's Big Bag program, providing toiletries and clothing to families staying with their children in the hospital, and direct support to Doernbecher and Randall Children's Hospitals. In Cameron's name, the Legacy also provides support to Candlelighters for Kids With Cancer and The Sparrow Club.

Even though this year has been a lot, we are still going to continue our tradition of the Toy Drive! We can accept NEW and UNWRAPPED toys at any of our locations!

Doernbecher’s Children’s Hospital has also provided a list of items they specifically need. We also have the link to their Amazon Wish List, which will be a great tool for folks who aren't comfortable going out shopping. Amazon will deliver the items directly to Doernbecher, which also helps take the load off of us!

Here is an employee breakdown for your reference!

NOVEMBER’S PEOPLE’S PINT BENEFICIARY

  • Mary’s River Watershed Council // The mission of the Mary’s River Watershed Council is to inspire and support voluntary stewardship of the Mary’s River watershed. We are cultivating strong neighborhood ownership of the watershed’s health. We envision a future where abundant native fish live in the shaded waters, and where people feel connected to this place and see themselves as active stewards of the environment.
