UPCOMING PACKAGED RELEASES

Releasing Friday, 6/11

  • English Mild // English-Style Mild Ale // Brewed with Maris Otter and a duo of specialty British malts, English Mild proudly represents this traditional style, pouring an amber-brown color while presenting generous notes of caramel, toast, and toffee. With a gentle roast and a whisper of fruity esters, English Mild carries a medium body and a silky smooth finish. // 4.2% ABV // $2.75/16oz Can, plus deposit

  • Turbulent Consequence, Pêche // Spontaneous Wild Ale with Peaches // Our 2020 blend takes carefully selected barrels of up to 24-month-old Turbulent Consequence stock to further mature on locally grown autumn gold peaches for an additional eight months prior bottling. Turbulent Consequence is brewed using historic lambic methods, including a turbid mash with Oregon-grown raw wheat and barley, extended boil with aged hops, inoculation by resident flora in our wild cellar’s coolship, and spontaneous fermentation and maturation in oak barrels. // 6.3% ABV // $11.50/500mL Bottle, plus deposit

GENERAL UPDATES

  • Employee BBQ is BACK!!

    • Save the date for Monday, July 19th, as we plan to host an evening BBQ at MLK Park in NW Corvallis. We still need to firm some additional details, but RSVP will be required. Please keep your eyes open for that link and additional details in early July.

  • Coasters

    • We are going to begin using coasters again at both locations. At the Pub, please begin once again dropping coasters as you greet a table, and at the Tap Room, please drop coasters when you deliver their first round of drinks.

    • When bussing, please make sure to pay close attention to the quality of coasters, and toss them if they are not looking awesome.

  • The Limit Does Not Exist!

    • As overall restrictions have been lifting, and we can now seat more guests in our locations, we have received more and more negative feedback about our 90 minute table limits. We decided today that we are no longer enforcing the 90 minute time limit at either location. When planning for table flow/rotation, plan normally for a 2 hour table time, and have flexibility of what specific table the next group will be seated at.

  • Caves Update

    • At this time, we are continuing to focus our energy on the Downtown Pub and Tap Room locations. We are currently working to reimagine the overall Caves space, and hope to reopen in late fall/winter to offer a truly special experience.

BOH UPDATES

As we start to ramp up business and hire more new folks, it’s important to remember that communication on the line is KEY! Please review this write-up from Patrick regarding Calls and Call Backs.

Additional fun facts: World Oceans Day is June 8th, and Ocean Blue is hosting a beach cleanup in Lincoln City on 6/12!
