YOU OUGHTA KNOW!

FEBRUARY BOTTLE RELEASE

Next weekend is our February bottle release, and with it comes your opportunity to snag some highly anticipated Super Nebula bottles, Super Nebula Breakfast with the Turkey, Super Nebula Vanilla Chocolate Raspberry, Kriek bottles, and DAB Lab, Juice Joint cans (details and pricing on these beers are below)!

As employees you are able to pre-order your allotment of these bottles and pick them up out at our Tap Room on Friday, January 31st from 11:30am to 10pm! To request your allotment, please follow this link and fill out the requested info. The deadline to fill out this form is Wednesday, February 29th at 5pm. If you do not pre-order by this date, you will be unable to pick up your allotment on Friday.

*NOTE: You will receive your employee discount of 25% off whether you get your bottles on Friday or later. But to ensure there are enough bottles available on Friday, you must pre-order.

EMPLOYEE TOURS

Just a reminder to everyone who hasn’t attended a Production Brewery Tour yet - you have until Friday, January 31st to attend one! Please sign up via the web site. You only have THREE chances left! If you foresee any issues with being able to attend one, please let Paige know.

MAJESTIC THEATRE COMP SHOWS

There are still a few upcoming Majestic Theatre shows that as Block 15 employees we get free tickets to! If you’re interested, please let Kevin know.

BOURBON MONTH INFO FOR ALL STAFF

All of our staff should be knowledgeable about Bourbon Month coming up in February, regardless if you’re not FOH and don’t have to worry about the above education requirements!

So, the awesome and super talented Ms. Goody has put together a Bourbon Month Overview that you should all definitely familiarize yourself with! It has an overview of the month, as well as some detailed information on the various events happening.

It’s a super fun (and busy!) month, and customers get real pumped about it, so there are bound to be questions!

    Each year we mature Super Nebula—an imperial version of our Nebula Stout—in unique bourbon barrels, followed by conditioning on cocoa nibs selected to complement that year’s blend. 2020 Super Nebula was matured in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels and then conditioned on direct trade and Rainforest Alliance Certified Forastero cocoa nibs from Ghana. / 13.25% ABV / $11.50 / 500mL bottle / 5 bottles/person

    Kriek, a Spontaneous Cuvée is an oud bruin inspired wild ale that was spontaneously fermented in bourbon barrels first used to mature Super Nebula. After extended conditioning on Montmorency cherries from The Cherry Country, we blended barrels of Kriek at their peak of character, marrying the unique expression of our wild cellar’s resident flora with the essence of fresh tart cherries and a subtle hint of bourbon. / 7% ABV / $11.50 / 500mL bottle / 3 bottles/person

  • The DAB Lab, Juice Joint / Progressive IPA ftg. Hop Extractions
    The DAB Lab series focuses on vibrant hop-forward ales that prominently feature hop extractions. Juice Joint pairs dank, citrusy, and tropical varietals—a heady hop combination that’s packed with hop character of resin-dipped pineapple skunk and freshly squeezed twisted citrus. / 7% ABV / $4.00, plus deposit / 16oz can / no limit
