UPCOMING PACKAGED RELEASES

Releasing Friday, 10/1

  • Skagit Valley Amber // AMBER ALE // By pushing malting technology and barley varietals to their limits, Skagit Valley Malting has worked with us to develop a malt-showcasing amber ale. Built on a base of Pilot Ale, Wintmalt Pilsner, and Triticale (a wheat/rye hybrid) malts along with experimental molasses and Extra Dark Munich, this amber provides gentle sweetness, subtle spice, and a finish that will leave you wanting more. Malt matters. // 5.50% ABV /16oz Can

  • TC, Noble Rot // SPONTANEOUSLY FERMENTED ALE // Turbulent Consequence, Noble Rot blends barrels matured from one to three years in our wild cellar, including secondary fermentation on Viognier noble rot grapes in Florio Marsala Barrels. // 6.70% ABV /500mL Bottle

GENERAL

The online ordering system is currently having a struggle accepting gift cards, so a banner has been added to the top of the screen stating that effect. Toast is aware of the issue, and is working to correct it. Guests wishing to use a gift card will likely call in an order over the phone and pay on site, or they may enter a credit card online and then want to change their form of payment when they arrive to pick up their order. Please help folks to the best of your ability through this.

COMMONPLACE FARM

We have started a relationship with a local farm called Commonplace Farm! They are a family owned farm located here in Corvallis that produces lettuces, other greens and microgreens! We have begun using their spicy microgreens on our Mesa Salad and starting next week we will transition from GTF salad greens to their seasonal mesclun mix!

For more information about Commonplace Farm, check out it out here.

PUB UPDATES

  • This Friday (10/1) we will be replacing the Mojito with our Pollinator which is a variation of the classic Bee’s Knees cocktail (gin, honey simple and lemon juice). The Pollinator will feature Crater Lake Gin, house made sage-ginger-honey simple syrup and lemon juice served up.

  • We have taken down the direction signs for the stairs so that employees and guests can use whichever set of stairs they want rather than a designated staircase.

  • We are looking to add another Server to our mix from our current pool of Hosts/Food Runners. If you are interested in becoming a Server, please send Goody a message on HotSchedules expressing your interest by end of day (11PM) Monday, October 4th. She will reach out to schedule a time to interview for the position. For a description of expected job duties, see below. We look forward to adding some rad faces to the serving team!

TAP ROOM UPDATES

  • After a few technical difficulties, The soda water tap AND the side pull tap are being installed this week! We no longer have Perrier or Q soda.  Please check in with a manager for training on cocktail/Gloria pouring procedures.

  • Some of you have noticed that we have started to rent out taps to people if they need them with their kegs.  Right now we are running low on them but we have more on order.  Make sure when they are returned that we note in the keg return log that they have also dropped back off a tap.  Once they are returned, there is a bin next to the brewers wash sink that they need to be stored so that brewers can wash them and get them back to us.
