UPCOMING PACKAGED RELEASES

GENERAL UPDATES
Due to the rising number of positive COVID cases and hospitalization in Oregon, the Governor has announced masks will be REQUIRED in all indoor settings, starting this Friday August 13th. New signage will be posted at our locations reflecting that message.
Mask Mandate Resources
Training resources for managing interactions with customers and the mask mandate that’s to come:
Oregon Hospitality Foundation developed Guest Service Tips During COVID-19 Challenges training courses that cover communication, compliance, credibility, and how to create positive experiences.
ServSafe offers free COVID-19 Conflict De-escalation Training for guidance on how to reduce tensions while maintaining the spirit of hospitality.
COVID Survey
As we are awaiting clear guidance from the CDC and OHA on what changes they might enact to prevent this latest spike in COVID cases, we are asking for your help in gathering information to better inform our own policies. Please take 5 minutes this week and fill out this survey. We greatly appreciate your help and insight!

EVENTS
Corvallis Knights Block 15 Night
The last regular season game for the Corvallis Knights is this Thursday, and we have been given the opportunity to sponsor the game! An allocation of FREE tickets are available at both the Tap Room and Downtown Pub. Feel free to grab tickets for you, your friends & fam. $3 Summer Knights Kölsch will be pouring during the game!
PUB UPDATES
We have received some questions from many of our lovely new faces on what exactly a "cask" beer is. Click this link to learn all about the history of cask conditioned ales, and what makes them so darn special (and delicious)! It is fairly unique to have a cask offering, so please feel free to read the write-up and chat cask with some guests!
We are flying through our stock of Passion Fruit lemonade/margarita and will likely switch over to a Marionberry lemonade/margarita sometime this weekend (made with local Marionberries, which is pretty rad). Pre-shift whiteboards will be updated once we officially make the switch.
Please avoid stacking excess or dirty trays on top of the small server cabinet under the end of the bar. This area can quickly get cluttered and look a bit messy. Trays can be stashed in the holder at the bar, in the kitchen window area or a space can be carved out in the indoor hoststand if needed. Remember: if you use a tray to bus a dirty table, please wipe it with a sanitized rag before using it to run food or beverages to the next table.
TAP ROOM UPDATES
STAFF UPDATES
Welcome the newest member to the team - Paige K! Paige will be in the kitchen as a dishwasher.
Hiring for Tap Room Manager
We are looking for a Tap Room Manager to replace Paige in her role at the Tap Room. This position will be different from the combination of roles that Paige specifically had, rather this role will be on the floor in the Tap Room for 30+ hours a week with ~5 hours of office work. We are looking for a full time person, or someone who can increase their availability to full time if they are part time now.
Front of House experience is required, and the candidate needs to be in good standing with Block 15.
If you are interested, please email a letter of interest to Chris@block15.com by Monday, August 16 at 5pm.
