STAFF PROVISIONS

Hey everyone - submit ideas for staff provisions!!!! It’s a cool way for you to have one of your ideas or favorite foods professionally executed! Also, just a reminder that at the end of the quarter we will be raffling off a gift card to the Downtown Corvallis Association (to be used at select downtown businesses) to anyone whose provision was picked!

WORKOUT PERKS

Just a reminder to everyone about two workout incentives that Block 15 provides:

  • We have a block of 65 OrangeTheory Fitness classes available, and will most likely be purchasing anther pack for the rest of 2020! If you are interested, you can call the studio to sign up for a class.

  • Additionally, if an employee can show they workout at least eight times per calendar month, Block 15 will put $20 onto your paycheck! This can be at any gym or workout class, etc. - essentially anywhere where you can get a verified log of attendance.

THE CORVALLIS HALF MARATHON & 5K

The Corvallis Half Marathon & 5K is quickly approaching! The 5k and the Half Marathon are both (newly this year!) on Saturday, April 11th. Block 15 encourages you to participate! In support of this, we will be covering the whole registration cost of any Caves or Block 15 employee who participates.

You must request, and be approved for, that time off of work by February 29th.

If you would like to register for one of these runs, please check in with your scheduling manager first. Sarah and Laura will be giving Kristen a list of all staff members who are approved for that time off.  She will then message all approved staff with a code and the web site that will allow you to register for free!

Please note this “offer” is only good for those of you who participate.  If you register, but don't participate, you will owe Block 15 the registration fee, so make sure to only sign up if you are committed to running!

MAJESTIC THEATRE COMP SHOWS

PLATING UPDATES

Just an FYI the Sriracha Mac & Cheese is now going to be plated in a pasta bowl! The plating looks nicer:) The procedure will be posted in the kitchen for you!

Also, FOH’ers please remember to ask people if they want bread with their pastas, especially the Mac & Cheese! They’re already getting a lot of carbs, so we don’t want to waste more food than necessary!
