ALL:

  • Bourbon Month Activities are still taking place! Tuesday, Feb. 7th (today) we have the Cheers for Charity Dine Out with 4 Spirits at the Pub, Feb. 17-18th is the Winter Warmup Event at the Tap Room, and Feb. 19th will be the Bourbon Dinner at Caves. If guests have questions about these events, guide them to sign up for our Newsletter with the QR Codes on each table.

  • We have a busy week ahead with more OSU athletic events happening Thursday thru Saturday!! We’ve got this! Deep breaths & communication is key to success!

  • Bourbon Month Food Specials Updates: The Arugula & Date Salad will be delayed on its formal release so we will be hanging onto the Chickpea Shawarma Salad through this week.

  • Just as an FYI if guests ask, the Ice Cream Sundae Collab with Sugar J’s will be a Tap Room only event.

  • Closers please be sure to put the Coco Bells in the fridge overnight.

  • FOCUS POINT: Food Feedback! Please engage with guests to get more food feedback whether it's positive or negative. Also be sure to communicate with the kitchen lead if & when we are needing to assess an item for quality standards and if we need to damage control be sure to also let your floating manager know the situation.

       FOH:

  • Amazon deliveries need to be checked for names and then placed in the office. Please don’t leave Amazon packages in the break room restock area.  If a package with the name Alicia arrives let a manager know, as that package will need to be taken to Caves.

  • Our current Gluten Free beer option, Hophoria will be phased out on Friday and replaced by two Gluten Free options from Mutantis Brewing (PDX local): Mexican Amber Lager, and the Hop Trifecta hazy IPA.

  • FOCUS POINT: Guiding Our Guests to the Best Drink of Choice Awareness! Drink communication and feedback is a great way to engage with our guests. If a guest is intrigued by the special bourbon cocktails, dive in further and ask if they are generally bourbon drinkers (these drinks are bourbon forward), this is a great time to open up communication to help guide them to a beverage of their liking.  If a guest orders the Bleeding Heart Rose’, discuss the tasting notes and note how our rose’ is not the general light body Rose’... it's ok to offer a taster. Also, with the release of 2 new Gluten Free beers in cans it's super important to know the tasting notes before serving them.

       BOH:

  • We are adjusting the Patty Melt procedure. The cheese will now be melted on the burger instead of on the bread.

FOCUS POINT: Station Organization & Station Cleanliness!
