  • Bourbon Month is here–Wednesday February 1st!!  This week is going to be eventful with all things Bourbon Month–brunch, TR events, and OSU Women’s Basketball/Men’s OSU Wrestling!  Let’s be ready for some fun!!

  • Great work communicating! Let’s keep that momentum going! Again Hosts, if you are seating multiple partials this also needs to be communicated with the Kitchen Lead and the Float so that if seating needs to be slowed down the float can assist.   

  • Bourbon Month Specials Are Coming Out: the Arugula & Date Salad will replace the Chickpea Shawarma Salad and the Maple Bourbon Bacon Patty Melt will be available Wednesday February 1st!! 

  • 5 oz pours of the Kreik and the original Super Nebula do count toward a stamp on the Bourbon Month Passport for guests & employees. However, if you choose to take part in the Bourbon Month Passport, the Employee .50cent 5 oz pours will not count towards a stamp–normal 5 oz pour price only for employees on the Passport. 

  • Just as an FYI if guests ask, the Ice Cream Sundae Collab with Sugar J’s will be a Tap Room only event.

  • When guests order wings they don’t get an option for only drumsticks or only flats… Mix-Match is the only option! 

  • FOCUS POINT: Bourbon Month Knowledge! This Wednesday is the kick-off of Bourbon Month! Be sure to know all the details about food specials, beer, bourbon, & bourbon cocktail specials! Also please be sure to know when & where our Bourbon Month Events are being held! Bourbon Month is super popular!      

       FOH:  

  • Original Super Nebula & Kreik are releasing Wed. February 1st!  The two Super Nebula variations: S.N.  Breakfast w/ Williams & S.N. Xocolatl and the Sticky Hands: The Kine will be releasing Friday February 3rd. 

  • Game Room Reservations less than 10 people become a TABLE reservation–not a ROOM reservation. Also, beginning February 1st we will begin charging a $25 deposit. Servers please check with the manager on duty to verify if the $25 deposit has been paid before giving the $25 discount (there will be a new button for this discount).

  • Upstairs server station needs to be kept visibly clean. This means no stacking dirty dishes on top of the counter–dirty dishes must be kept in the bus bins away from the guest’s visibility. Doing so will also help keep the server station clean and more sanitary.        

  • FOCUS POINT: Sani Rags & Station Cleanliness Awareness! Sani Rags need to be kept in the Sani bucket–not next to the bucket, not neatly folded on the rim of the bucket, but in the Sani water inside the bucket.  Sani water also needs to be changed every 2 hours in order to keep our tables and stations clean & sanitized.

  • Now that all pita bread lives in the prep walk-in be sure to be more conscious of rotation (Top to Bottom)! If in doubt, pull from the top first!

  • Let’s continue maintaining floor cleanliness–great work this week so let’s keep this momentum going forward!

  • FOCUS POINT: Blue Cheese Portioning & Wing Plating Awareness! Be sure to be picking an equal amount of drumsticks & flats when portioning wings. Korean BBQ tossed wings are the only sets with a garnish–green onions & sesame seeds.  Blue Cheese Portions are 3= ½ bullet, 6=full bullet, 9=2 oz Rami, 12= 4 oz Rami… see procedure list for more.
