  • Please store the dog bowl at Caves in the dry storage area on the bottom shelf after it has been sanitized.

  • Please store the dog bowl at the Pub on the ground below the ketchup/ root beer barrel boxes in the kitchen.

  • Food feedback is super important, positive or negative! We value our staff opinions too, not just customers. Please take a moment when eating at any of our establishments to evaluate how happy you were with your meal 😊

  • Sunday BBQ Chicken is now $13.99, still served with 5 hush puppies, coleslaw and chicken, No Fries.

FOH:

  • Pub Servers: please make sure you’re leaf blowing from the Hive all the way to Caves.

  • We do not carry Mozzarella as an option right now although it’s printed on the menu. Please inform customers of this and if they’d like something similar, we have Provolone instead.

  • We still have BMT sandwiches on the secret menu that can be served on Rye or Ale Bread upon request.

  • Caves Servers: If you get an order for more than 3 oysters (if the Caves kitchen is busy) please take it upon yourself to call over to your Float at the Pub and see if they can send a kitchen staff member over to help shuck so Caves line members can continue pace if they’re busy.

  • Hosts: You’re doing an awesome job keeping the kitchen up to date on seating, please also include your float in these check ins, especially after a big rush when the waitlist starts to slim down.

  • We are accepting $5 Cards and DCAs right now, please see a lead or manager for discount. Leads be aware you will use a button labeled $5 GC/ DCA that will prompt you for the value of the discount. Servers please drop these cards with your tip slips at the end of the night. If you do receive a DCA as form of payment and the customer’s tab doesn’t use the DCA amount in full (because we do not have cash right now) your manager on duty will need to provide them with a Block 15 Gift Card for the remainder.

  • Important sanitation notice: Always use disposable white napkins when cleaning bathroom NOT reusable towels.

  • Take out lead: Please remember the kitchen lead is in charge or firing Pick up tickets while your responsible for firing delivery tickets. Please still inform them when a customer shows up early for their pick up order. If you’re curious if one is in the works, pop over to the grill side of the line and take a look for yourself. We’re a team, communication is everything!

BOH:

  • Caves Kitchen Lead: Please keep the Takeout lead informed when they should bump up times for delivery service just like we would for inhouse dining (when you have 6 to 8 takeout/delivery tickets plus in house dining you should definitely be checking in and letting them know where pacing is at). Also call out when you are firing Pick up orders so the take out lead doesn’t need to ask if you’re already working on it.

  • Let’s have scales close to every fry station and be weighing all portions of fries.

  • On that note, lets also make sure we are consistent with the amount of seasoning we are tossing fries in.

  • For To-Go Korean Rice Bowls please place the fried egg to the side in the To-Go box so the yolk is less likely to pop when the box is closed up.

  • Grease hog needs to be rinsed every night and then hung up upside-down over the compost and garbage. It should still be deep cleaned once a week as well.
