ALL:

  • As a company we thrive on positive attitudes! It is easy to get stressed and forget that we are all working as a team. If you need help, ask! At the end of the day it is everyone’s job to make sure we provide awesome service and keep this one of the most popular spots in Corvallis.

  • Please take the time this week to label your cubby with the tags in the breakroom that Katy was awesome enough to make for us 😊

  • Food breaks of any kind are not permitted to be taken in the kitchen. We want you all to feel empowered to express to your manager on duty that you need to eat (even if you have not been offered a break), and take that break in an appropriate area of the restaurant such as the Breakroom or Brewers bar. It is not a sanitary practice to eat where food is prepared.

  • If we have a leak/ spill we would like everyone to use the white absorbent towels with an orange strip to soak it up.

FOH:

  • Please keep a closer eye on the Brewer’s Bar and Bar Rail. This is seating just like a table and should be clean whenever its open.

  • You are required to check in with your manager or float on duty before firing food for yourself, every time.

  • Let’s avoid taking multiple tables orders at once. This causes you to stack ringing them in and although it may seem efficient, it bogs down the kitchen and actually creates higher ticket times. Ticket times start the moment you take the order from the customer, not when you ring it in.

  • Furthermore, people come here for the awesome service you all provide, so have confidence when conversing with customers to politely excuse yourself if you know you have drinks or food to run, other tables that need checked on, etc... They will understand that you want to provide great service to your whole section!

  • Before asking to phase be sure to be proactive with your side work to allow you to make it out in the projected time.

BOH:

  • No more stocking a backup Salad Bag in the small fridge in the kitchen. This takes up too much valuable space and prevents airflow in the fridge.
