ALL:

  • Thanks to TAYLOR (and Anna Y.!!!) for sprucing up the chalkboard above the kitchen window for the holidays! It looks amazingggggg!!!!! You rock!

  • Make sure to wash your hands and keep ‘ish SANITIZED!!!!! There’s a gnarly virus going around Albany so make sure to change sani out and wipe counters/ipads/phones/etc. down often, and WASH YO HANDS!

  • Adding veggies (tomato, onion, or lettuce) to sandos vs. adding SIDES OF SAUCE/VEGGIES/ETC. Bourbon pickles charge! 

  • NO DRINKING COLD BREW OR KOMBUCHA FOR FREE. If you pour a cold brew, make sure to alert a staff member so they can put it on your tab. The only free beverages are root beer (1 per), strawberry lemonade (1 per), hot tea (1 per) and hot coffee (multiple) & ice tea (multiple). Regardless, though, all beverages should be put on your tab and discounted appropriately, be that with the employee discount or a 100% employee beverage discount.

  • We will be requiring all FOH & BOH staff to attend a production brewery tour by the end of January. There will be 4 rounds of tours this next Monday 12/2 (the day of the holiday party), and house shifts will be available today for you to sign up for those. If you’re not able to take that Monday tour, please note that it will be your responsibility to attend a tour at one of the normally scheduled public tour times (5pm on Fridays or 2pm on Saturdays). Please sign-up online at block15.com/tours.

  • Simple green containers just need to be recycled - no need to save them like we do AutoChlor containers. 

FOH:

  • Packaged beer looked awesome this week - keep up the good work and continue to be accurate in what you’re ringing in and what you’re handing out!!! 

  • There was never an officially change in the SOP of keg sales, but some smart soul had us start printing out square receipts for all keg sales and attaching those to the paperwork. This way we a) know they did in fact pay and b) we don’t have to decipher handwriting to figure out the receipt number. So, going forward, all keg sales should have receipts printed with them!  

BOH:

  • Good job portioning chopped pork - keep up the good work BOH-stars! 

  • Check consistency/quality of hotheld items continuously throughout the day!
