FOH:

  • There are extra til sheets printed and ready to be used when current ones get filled up...they are located in the cardboard cubby thing on top of the shoe cubby (bottom right cubby). Keep the previous ones in the bag so a manager can verify all is well after they complete weekly books. 

  • If someone orders a large size salad and it seems like it’s meant to be an entree, please try to reiterate that the “large” isn’t necessarily entree size. Encourage adding protein, another side, etc. We don’t want people mad when they receive a large (even though it is $7) thinking they are going to get an “entree sized” salad.  

  • Lets try to put “zz” before any employee tab so they stay at the bottom of the open tab list, and therefore actual customer open tabs stay at the top. Brewers/distro won’t be told to do this, so please just add the zz’s on as you see tabs without it (and it will eventually catch on with them, I’m sure!).

  • On the note of tabs/credit cards - please verify that the name of the tab of the person you are cashing out matches the name on the credit card you are handing back to them!! Don’t just show someone a card and ask if it’s theirs...there are only a handful of types of credit cards compared to the number of people in the world, so the visual verification does not work! 

  • Today marked an increase in our draft beer prices! This applies to any pour, as well as crowler/growler pricing. If a customer gripes about it, please (politely) let them know that the last time we upped beer pricing was way back in July 2017 - so it has been awhile! We strive to absorb as much cost as possible internally, but costs of business and service operations do increase so we have to up prices a bit!!

  • Also, FYI we will now be offering Hoppy Hour and Mug Club pricing on cider pours. The buttons are in the POS!
