ALL:

  • Here is the run-down for all things coming at us: Thursday-Sunday Corvallis Knights home games!

  • Now that school is out & we made it through Graduation Weekend, let’s be sure to check the Brewsletter for more information regarding future Block 15 events i.e. Beach Clean-up, Brews, Blues, & BBQ in July!! Fun things are happening!

  • FOCUS POINT: We Did It Again!! You Are All Amazing! We made it through another wild Graduation/Holiday weekend! Thank you all for busting your buns and supporting each other and making this a busy and fun-filled weekend! To all of our newer staff, thank you for working through one of our busiest weekends!

     FOH:

  • Please don’t stack rocks glasses or 5 oz glasses when bussing tables or when placing them in the dirty glass racks. We don’t want them to break!

  • When putting away/restocking the empty Crowlers, please make sure that we put a lid on them first to keep the inside from getting dusty.

  • When taking a Togo order in house, please remember to put "paid" or "not paid" in the tab name or be sure to Sharpie it on the ticket once it prints.

  • Let’s practice returning things to their home, even when we are busy! Extra chairs/high chairs never belong stacked by table 7 or the back server station as these are high trafficked walkways! At the top of the stairs by table 19 or 13 is the safest storage space for these!

  • FOCUS POINT: Proper Silverware & Napkin Allotment Awareness!! Let’s be sure that the proper silverware is being delivered with food (i.e. fork & knife goes with Chopped Pork Sandwich, Fish & Fries…). Also let’s be sure that an appropriate number of napkins are being delivered per dish (i.e. 1 napkin per appetizer and the max 2 napkins per entree), and if you already see a stack of napkins on the table please don’t drop more as this is wasteful.

BOH:

  • If the wet stone is taken upstairs for knife sharpening it needs to go back in the prep kitchen after it has been used. Also, it should only be used to sharpen knives– grill spatulas should never be sharpened with the stone! This is too dangerous and will break the spatulas!

  • Please change the chip lid nightly & be sure to wipe the base of all containers that are placed on top of it… dirty things on top of the chips are not sanitary!

  • FOCUS POINT: Setting Other Shifts up for Success!! Let’s focus on setting up the next shift for success & finishing each shift strong! For example: Pre-closers let’s do the best restock you can! Openers during shift change let’s be sure to be cutting lots of garnish to ensure that the night crew has enough for the evening! Closers let’s stock all the plates on the line so the opener is not rushing to do that as we open!
