ALL:

  • Here is the run-down for all things Sports coming at us: Tuesday OSU Baseball vs Nevada, Wednesday OSU Baseball vs Nevada, & Friday-Saturday OSU Softball vs California… Be Ready!!

  • Dine Out: Girls on the Run, Tuesday March 14th–tonight!!

  • The leak in the breakroom is now drifting under the stairs so when shop vac-ing be sure to vacuum both the back area of the break room AND in front of the stairs.

  • The Albacore Tuna Sandwich will be replaced on the menu by the Italian Sandwich this coming Friday 3/17!

  • FOCUS POINT: Shop Vac-ing the breakroom–Puddle Awareness!! Before you clock off use the Shop Vac & vacuum up the puddles both in the back of the break room & in front of the stairwell. This is everyone’s responsibility as the leak is only increasing with all this rain. After you are completed with the vacuum be sure to communicate with a manager on the floor so that we can keep an eye on how often we are doing this.

       FOH:

  • When making Hot Chocolate be sure to look for the whip cream FIRST, as it won't be getting made as frequently. If there isn’t a whip can on the ready let the bar manager know ASAP so that we can get that made for you while you are making the Hot Chocolate.

  • We will now only be setting out 3 Coco Bells in a ⅓ pan at a time instead of all 6, so that they don’t dry out.

  • FOCUS POINT:  Appropriate Time for Breaking Down Stations Awareness Continued: Shift Change should not be completed before lunch, the server stations in the kitchen shouldn’t be broken down before 9:30 pm, and no rolling up floor matts too soon…. Read the flow of the restaurant, keep in mind that if you have active tables that being visible in your section comes first, if there is a game getting out later don’t create extra work for yourself by breaking down stations, & if in question check in with the manager on the floor first.

       BOH:

  • Please continue to watch your Queso Fresco portions & check the procedures for enchiladas (2 TBLs = ½ bullet) & Mesa Salad (1 oz = full bullet)!

  • Let’s not keep cucumber & tomato back-ups in the new make table, in order to keep them fresher & with less waste.

FOCUS POINT: Garnish Awareness! Focus on Queso Let’s be sure to check for garnish freshness & portion appropriately–especially Queso!!
