ALL:

  • There was a Dine Out yesterday at both locations for Garfield Elementary School! A portion of yesterday’s sales will automatically go to them.

  • For Bloktoberfest this week, we will be having live music at the pub Thursday and Saturday evening. 

  • Next Wednesday, we will be replacing the tuna melt with our MEATLOAF SANDWICH. Yum!!

  • Focus Point: Staff Appreciation!! We just wanted to give a huge shout out and thank you to everyone that worked this weekend. We know it was popping and crazy busy with move-in weekend and the football game. Kitchen, servers, hosts, foodrunners, dishwashers, you all crushed it and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you! THANK YOU!!

FOH:

  • Even when we have a foodrunner, EVERYONE is responsible for helping run EVERYONE’S food, not just your own tables. If you have the time and hear the bell, please help run food. Teamwork makes the dream work.

  • When marking off tasks on lists, let’s make sure we are initialing each and every item individually instead of drawing a line through or highlighting the whole thing. This way we can ensure that tasks are completed. 

  • Focus Point: Let’s focus on cleaning up after ourselves post shift, whether it be leftover cups or cans. Focus on keeping that back server station area clean and tidy.

BOH:

  • It’s important to make sure that we are keeping stations clean and organized, even when busy. Let’s focus on consistent and frequent station maintenance. 

  • When restocking and you notice we are low or out of something, let’s make sure to communicate that with Tivey and the prep kitchen folks so that they are aware. 

  • Focus Point: shift preparedness. Make sure you are familiar with the new specials and how to execute them successfully.
