  • Hi everyone! We are launching the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich tomorrow. This delicious sandwich will come with a crispy fried chicken thigh, bread and butter pickles, shredded cabbage, spicy mayo and a toasted bun! This will be replacing the Nashville Hot and Cold Sandwich.

  • Downstairs employee bathrooms and Caves bathrooms are still out of order. The plan to get them repaired will happen mid-September. 

  • Reminder, if you go into the brewery walk-in, keg walk-in or Caves walk-in, let’s make sure we are latching the door ensuring it’s closed all the way. 

  • Focus Point: TOOTHPICK AWARENESS. Do your part and make sure there are no toothpicks left on plates before they hit the dishpit. Thanks!!

FOH:

  • Fluff’s Travel’s is coming out this week!

  • New dry Rose from Sweet Cheeks is now on! Feel free to ask your bartender to try a sample. 

  • When you have a food issue, dietary question or need to talk to the kitchen, let’s make sure to talk to the kitchen LEAD. If you are wondering who the lead on the line is that day, you can look on the BOH roster section of the whiteboard. 

  • When moving extra chairs upstairs, let’s make sure we are taking them all the way upstairs and out of the way to avoid cluttered spaces and to ensure clear walkways. 

  • Focus Point: During slower periods, let’s keep our eyes open for cleaning projects as well as actively finding tasks to keep ourselves busy. Goody will have a new list of pub projects that will need to be completed. If you find yourself with spare time, ask a manager to show you the list.

BOH:

  • Due to supply issues, we will be using a substitute kimchi. Prep - this kimchi comes in a jar and should be chopped before reaching the line. 

  • Focus Point: there has been a lack of call and response on the line. Let’s focus on clear and effective communication regarding callbacks. Please read Patrick’s write-up posted about callbacks.
