ALL:

  • The Company picnic is July 19th at MLK Park!!! See you there :)

  • OSU’s graduation is this weekend, prepare for a busier weekend than usual.

  • Please take an extra moment when brewing coffee to weigh the coffee to the labeled amount on the coffee maker (depends on how large of a pot you’re brewing) and make sure the filter is properly set, not folded or crumpled on the edges. This often lets too much water through or grinds. Lastly, please label the pot with the time it was brewed.

  • Aim to be off shift within 15 to 20 minutes after being phased. If you have been given more side work than you can accomplish in this amount of time, please communicate with your manager on duty and they will either ask you to pass those tasks off to employees still on shift or to give you more time to complete those tasks.

FOH:

  • ● We are out of Q Ginger Beer for the time being so we are using Fentimans Ginger Beer as a substitution.

  • Compton Pinot Gris and Noir bottles are now stored in the cellar! Just a reminder these bottles are still for takeout only

  • Plastic soda cups and glass pints are the only glassware that should ever go in the dirty drink rack (brown square, top shelf of bus station) and all other specialty cups or kids cups go in grey bar racks.

  • Prioritize checking under tables for large debris when cleaning tables.

  • The *double* button on cocktail/liquor mods does not upcharge, please make sure to ring in a secondary shot of the liquor needed.

  • We have noticed an abundance of wasted napkins lately. Please help us continue to be environmentally conscious by only serving 1 napkin per person for appetizers and 1-2 napkins per person per entree, depending on how messy the dish is.

BOH:

  • Paully’s creating a new scoop and weight guide (for protein) that will live on the back of the opener list to help with proper portioning!

  • If pulling Cold Fry Chicken off of the sheet pan, please only back out one 3rd pan at a time; don’t use 8 quart as this is creating a problem with the seasoned oil mixture draining off the chicken. ● The chopped pork is cooked thoroughly before being backed out, so when reheating on the flattop make sure to not oversteam.
