ALL:

  • We are having new “As App” tickets to put in the window with appetizers since the tickets aren’t singled out. There won’t be a table number on them so please look at the KDS screen and SELECT that you have ran that app to limit confusion (just tap it and highlight the apps then hit “fulfill”) and check with the kitchen if you have any questions!

FOH:

  • As the host, take coasters to tables with the menus!

  • We seat our last table at 8pm (9pm Fri/Sat/Sun) that does not mean we close at that time. If we are busy and customers continue to come in we will stay open later - make sure you communicate that with the kitchen as well if we have the business to make that call.

  • Be respectful of guests still dining when we are nearing close. There are closing tasks that make the guests feel rushed/are tacky to do when we have people in the restaurant. If all you have left is sweeping and mopping with tables still sat then you are doing too many closing tasks too early.

  • Make sure we are putting the umbrella down at night!

  • As service ramps up let’s make sure we are communicating with tables if their ticket times are getting high, and be proactive in letting tables we’re about to seat know if ticket times are high “We did just seat quite a few parties so food times are a little higher than normal for us, approx XX minutes”. 

BOH:

  • We are working on appetizers being ordered at the top of tickets, and a more obvious AS APP designation. There will be “As App” tickets without table numbers to put in the window so FOH knows to run them.

  • Thank you all for crushing it and getting through some busy a$$ days this weekend/week. Sarah is working on getting us more BOH bodies, but we appreciate each and every one of you.
