  • Double down on cleaning expectations. We are requiring that you check Sanitizer levels every time you refill the bucket, if you are unsure how to do this any manager would be happy to teach you.

  • For friends and family that are up for going out to eat, encourage then to try out our online reservation system when they come to support!

  • We have encouraged the Prep Staff to allow us to run low/ out of items to reduce waste. If you see an important item consistently running out please communicate the priority item that is running out so they can up the par they’re making of that item.

  • On that note, communication is key right now! We are all trying to make the business flow fluently so make sure to communicate any changes, inconsistencies or questions with Management, we want your feedback!

  • Upstairs seating will be closed for now.

FOH:

  • We are required to enforce the use of masks at our establishment by law when customers are not seated at their table. If you’re uncomfortable doing so please reach out to a manager to assist you, but feel empowered to encourage the customer yourself. Everyone is getting use to wearing them so it’s usually an honest mistake on their part!

  • We will go back to reusable plastic menus soon that can be sanitized, but for now please practice recycling these to cut back on waste and not fill our compost or trash bags!

  • When low on a specific Canned Beer (less that a flat or 24 cans) at Caves please 86 that beer and take the remaining stock over to the Pub. This should prevent from selling more than the stock that we have since two locations are using the same inventory. Make sure to communicate to a Pub manager when you are completely out of stock of something.

  • Please write in Caves Waste Log for any wasted beer (such as cans or bottles) to help keep inventory looking accurate

  • See a manager if you receive a $5 Block 15 Cash Card

Take out/Delivery Leads:

  • Check out with Caves bartender at end of shift

  • Square must stay open on Take out/ Delivery IPad in order to receive orders, prioritize checking this when you leave at night.

  • Please make sure there is always water in the pans in the bottom of the hot hold.

  • Open/ Closing checklist is now posted by the main IPad in the delivery area of Caves. This is a list of your specific responsibilities.

  • We have one family (long time regulars Ian, Howard and Leah) that we will allow to order Sunday BBQ through the pub for Take-out/ Delivery. This is a special circumstance so only they will have a link to place this order and you as the lead will need to pick the order up from the Pub kitchen. Please see manager at the pub if you have any questions.

  • When checking the Crowler list is up to date for take-out and delivery, please make sure that it is updated to the Pub Tap List because this is where the Crowler machine is. Until we have a system in place for those orders transferring to the pub though they are 86’d temporarily.

BOH:

  • The Caves Bartender will always be in charge of checking out the Caves kitchen at night.
