Launching the new Winter Vegetable & Lentil Salad tomorrow (1/20), along with the advanced version of our Mac & Cheese!
The new Ciabatta is NOT Vegan, just as a reminder our Burger Buns are though.
If you enter Caves for any reason it’s your responsibility to make sure it’s locked as you leave (front & back door). We are bringing this up because it has been left unlocked a few times when it shouldn’t be.
We’re now aiming to have two soup options per day. Also, check out the new garnish directions posted behind the soup warmer daily!
FOH:
FOH awareness week: Please prioritize stabbing your tickets as you make your own drinks behind the bar! This helps communicate with your coworkers what still needs to be done and prevents waste.
Our tap list may run thin the next week or so as we gear up for Bourbon Month as we have 6 new beers coming on in February to tap.
We will be serving Direct Flight in the awesome Tiki Glasses we used last year.
There’ll be Best By dates listed on cocktails, please rotate flasks as you restock new ones into the cooler.
‘86 Kentucky Coffee due to there being a shortage of Bourbon Cream. The cocktail will be replaced with another warm cocktail of some kind. Stay tuned!
Remember to pop back into the dishpit (especially on shorter shifts) to help catch dishes up as you get phased.
The broken heater at 602 should be fixed sometime on Wednesday 1/20.
BOH:
A list has been posted in the kitchen of all items that should be weighed before portioning.
After using the Caves Fryers and/or Grill please turn them off and make sure to check out with the Prep manager on duty to inform them you have done so.
Furthermore, whenever using the Caves kitchen it is your duty to clean up after you are finished with your project.
Just a reminder, please make sure to rotate sauces and other items when restocking coolers.
The kitchen fan does not need to be on before the kitchen is actually hot. Use your best discretion.
Please remember to use the Olive Oil blend we have stored in the Prep kitchen for making soups, NOT the Costco Olive Oil which is only for Oil & Vinegar on salads along with the Vegetalian.
