DECEMBER 1 - DECEMBER 21

Cameron Merrill passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2013, at the young age of 2 years and 4 months old. In response to this devastating loss, his family established Cameron Merrill's Legacy to support children with serious illnesses, and their families. By gathering toys for these children, they hope to bring joy during very difficult times, while showing their families community support.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Block 15 will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages. They will be delivered to Doernbecher and Randall Children’s Hospital’s pediatric ICU in time for the holidays. Cash donations are also welcome, and will be used to purchase additional toys for donation.

A NOTE FROM CAMERON'S FAMILY

"Cameron's Fight Big Bags" (which you can learn more about on the Cameron Merrill’s Big Fight Facebook page) have been adopted as new legacy programs for the non-profit organizations Candlelighters for Children with Cancer and Sparrow Clubs for children & families in medical crisis. We are also hosting blood drives as part of his legacy. With help from you and these organizations, Cameron's legacy can help kids and families during the toughest and scariest of times—emergency medical crisis. We want Cameron to get the lifetime of good work that he didn't get the chance to have. If he had lived to be 80 years old, he would have done a lot of good things. This way, his legacy gets the chance to do some of them. Thank you for your love, prayers & support. We miss him more than words can say, and this way a part of him gets to grow up.

Thanks and love,
The Merrill Family
